This Privacy Policy describes how KARMA — The Card Game ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and stores information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

• Username — chosen by you at registration
• Password — stored as a secure hash (never in plain text)
• Game data — wins, losses, XP, level, win rate
• Session tokens — used to keep you logged in
• Bug reports — text you submit voluntarily via the Report Issue form, linked to your username

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the game and enable multiplayer matchmaking
• To display leaderboards and player statistics
• To maintain your account and progress across sessions
• To investigate bug reports you submit

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from the app — tap INFO → DELETE ACCOUNT. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

5. Children's Privacy

KARMA is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed before storage. All connections are served over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
